THIS STUDY WAS SET TO BEGIN ON THURSDAY, APRIL 22. IT IS NOW BEING POSTPONED AND WILL BEGIN AT A YET UNDETERMINED DATE.
Anxious for Nothing” is a five-session video Bible study by Max Lucado, where he explores God’s promise in Philippians 4:4-8 and shows that, while anxiety is part of life, it doesn’t have to dominate it.
As you follow God’s prescription for worry – celebrate His goodness, ask for help, leave your concerns with Him, meditate on good things – you will experience His peace.
You can stop letting anxiety rule your day and find true calm and contentment in Christ.
EVERYONE IS INVITED.
DAYS: 2nd & 4th Thursdays, beginning April 22 TBD TIME: 6:30 – 8:00 PM LOCATION: LifeBridge Café CONTACT: Sue Kristynik at 713/314.7355

BACK AT LIFEBRIDGE IN PERSON!
We’re LIVE and IN PERSON in worship and Bible class at LifeBridge!
We are continuing with the following processes below:
Facemasks, though not required, are strongly requested and recommended. On Communion Sundays (1st & 3rd of the month), Holy Communion will have pre-packaged and wrapped individual bread and wine containers for use. Families sit together, but there will be spaces between their seats and those of other attendees. No Greeting Time during worship. Social distancing practices will be used (& seating is setup accordingly). Sanitation of facilities is taking place. Bible classes and worship services will also be live-streamed for those who cannot (or choose not to) make it in person. No worship folder and minimal use of other items that are touched.
Remain in Jesus, grow in your faith, and stay safe!
Current status of services and programs (unless otherwise noted and publicized):
If there is anything we can do to help you through this difficult time, please let us know.
Thank you & God bless!
Well, it took us about seven months to get through the book of
Now, it’s time to continue through
There is so much in this book that is
foundational – both historically and theologically.
Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?
Peace seems elusive.
We desperately want it and seek it – even taking classes or seminars or reading books on how to “get” it – but it seems ever out-of-reach.
Much of the reason is that we seek the
wrong kind of peace. We seek the world’s promised “peace” rather than the Lord’s assured, resurrected, true Peace!
The disciples we’re afraid and hiding, not knowing what to do; even
after being told that Jesus is alive. So when Jesus first appears to most of the disciples, His first words to them are words of the new reality found in His victory – “Peace be with you!”
May you know, live, and share His resurrected and victorious Peace today – and every day!
Read the following together, as one continuous story.
We praise and thank the Lord for His continued grace and kindness upon us as a people and nation, and for His mercy and protection amidst the pandemic and unrest that exists around us.
LifeBridge has just learned that
someone who was at the FORGE Men’s Bible study last Tuesday evening, April 13, has just tested positive for COVID-19.
Those who attended have been informed directly. Per CDC, those who attended Sunday are not at risk.
In all public venues, including church, wear a CDC approved face covering. Enhance your social distancing discipline to maintain 6 feet of distance from others not in your immediate family. Carefully monitor your symptoms and avoid all personal contact and nonessential travel if you feel the least bit ill. Continue hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer. Should you have any symptoms or feel ill, stay away from in-person worship and seek advice from your healthcare professional. Speak with your health care provider or local Health Department officials with any specific questions you may have about your health or COVID-19.
To ensure your safety LIFEBRIDGE WILL:
Continue to have all worship leadership’s temperature taken and masks worn when not seated each Sunday morning. Continue to perform contact tracing on those who attend services. Initiate an enhanced cleaning protocol 1 hour prior to any gathering and a follow up cleaning immediately following an event. Start handing out Communion elements and fellowship snacks to minimize contact by several. Closely monitor local, state and federal guidance and adjust our COVID-19 protocols accordingly.
This virus, like all struggles will continue to win some battles in this world. But
fear not; for Jesus has overcome the world and won the war!
Continuing to look at Jesus,
We all need to do our part to not only help ourselves but, more importantly,
help and protect others.
One of the ways we can do that (and help get things “back to normal”) is by getting
vaccinated for COVID-19.
is having a public vaccination event coming up to do just that! Sealy Pregnancy Resource Center

Next week we will begin our journey through
Today, we have a class with just some
Q&A and other miscellaneous items.
At the end of class we will also watch four videos from
on The Bible Project EXODUS (which we won’t stream here, but encourage you to watch to prepare for next week). They are:
Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked to us on the road, while He opened to us the Scriptures?
resurrection of Jesus brings completion to the prophecies of the Old Testament and clarity to the future awaiting all of us. It helps us focus on the reality of Life beyond this life and that all our fears and uncertainties are temporary.
And all of this happens when
Jesus, the resurrected One, opens Scripture – opens Himself – to us through the Holy Spirit!
May we be open to Him as He opens Himself to us – and live accordingly!
The Exodus from Egypt is pivotal in the history and theology of Israel and the Old Testament.
God, rescuing His people from slavery, their disobedience and subsequent wandering in the wilderness, the giving of His Law, and so much more is essential in understanding, not just the history of Scripture, but
our history as well!
As we walked through the book of Genesis, so we will walk through the book of Exodus.
Won’t you join us?
