We’re continuing our journey through the book of Genesis!
We’ll try another week for both Microsoft Teams meeting (for better interaction/participation by those online) as well as on our YouTube channel (video only). If you want to go the Teams route, you can join the Teams meeting here.
We apologize for our technical issues today, including low sound. We are addressing it. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
If we are to “walk in the Light,” it means that we can’t also walk in the darkness of our sins. We either follow God’s way or ours. His is Light. Ours, darkness. The fact is, we will walk in our ways and, when we do, we need to humbly confess and let Jesus advocate on our behalf to God – and He always wins! Jesus wins! Light wins! So we win!
“Whoever keeps [God’s] word, in him truly the love of God is perfected.”
It wasn’t just the those who lived at the time of Jesus who were witnesses of Him; we are too! And as such, we are to give witness about Him! This doesn’t just bring others true Life, but also brings us complete joy!
“We are writing these things so that your joy may be complete.”
Today we’ll start our journey through the book of Genesis!
We’ll try to have this be a hosted Microsoft Teams meeting as well for better interaction/participation by those online. (YouTube comments are often too delayed to be helpful.) If you want to try that route, you can join the Teams meeting here.
UPDATED to reflect more than one hurricanes and storms as well as updates regarding collections.
It has now been a bit since hurricanes and tropical storms have made landfall, devastating areas. LifeBridge is committed to helping.
The following ways to help aren’t, by any means, exhausting, but they are a start.
Jesus said, “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink.”
Matthew 25:35ab
Our efforts, primarily, will be going toward getting supplies out to those in need and are not being helped in other ways. We have also already sent some financial help (and solicit the same from you) and food to some areas in Louisiana.
For the supplies, we ask that you just pick up extras of these items when you shop for yourself and bring them to LifeBridge.

If our lives were examined, who or what should show up as our priority? Our lives, as Christians, aren’t about us. They are about Jesus and being winsome to others for Him. We should be willing to give up all – our very self – for Him and others; just as Jesus did for us. Denial is a fundamental characteristic of a Christian. Let’s show that. Let’s live that.
“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” ~Jesus
What changes a person – and what does it mean to be changed? More precisely, what does it mean and how does it manifest itself in the life of a Christian? God has something to says about that.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
