MISSION FESTIVAL at LIFEBRIDGE

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, LifeBridge will host leaders from Deaf Outreach Texas and World Lutheran Deaf Outreach will put on a Mission Festival at LifeBridge!

DID YOU KNOW?

There are over 100 million deaf people around the world, and 98% of them do not know Jesus.

The Rev. Dr. John Reinke will lead our adult Bible class at 8:30 AM and bring God’s Word through the sermon at 10:00 AM.

GOAL

To help our church share God’s love with the deaf members of our community.

WHAT WE WILL LEARN:

  • Deaf Culture and Community
  • Basic ASL Signs
  • Bible Stories with Acting

There will be lunch and fellowship after worship!

Purpose of Workshop

  • This workshop helps hearing friends meet and learn with Deaf people. You will learn how to communicate better with Deaf friends.
  • Most Deaf people in the world (about 98%) do not know Jesus. In Texas, about 345,000 Deaf people have not learned about Him yet. Many Deaf people are hard to find because they mix with hearing people.

You will learn:

  • Basic ASL signs
  • Deaf culture and community
  • Bible stories with acting

This workshop helps our church communicate better with Deaf members and share God’s love with more Deaf people.
