There is a lot there that doesn’t fit with people’s memories or assumptions; like basis for why they were given, what they mean, how there are different numberings of them, and more!

Identity seems like a simple concept, an answer characterized in the words of “The Who” with the question, “Who Are You?”
As with many things, the question is deeper and more complicated than it seems. Our identity is shaped, not only by our view and beliefs about ourselves, but also by others, be it good or bad.
Starting on February 3, 2019, we will begin a new sermon series on “IDENTITY,” with perspectives and answers about who we are according to the Church, family, our success, our idols, and, most importantly, God.
