Our next study for our Sunday morning adult Bible class will be the book of Joshua.

So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD had spoken to Moses. And Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel according to their tribal allotments. And the land had rest from war.

Joshua 11:23 (ESV)

We’ve gone through Genesis, Exodus, and Deuteronomy. Now, after 400 years of slavery in Egypt and wondering in the wilderness for 40 years, Israel is ready to enter the Promised Land.

But that land is currently occupied and Israel will have more tests to do as they go to realize the promise God has made.

They will also be tested as to whether they will trust God, obey Him, and be faithful to their part of the Covenant.

Joshua is an important book in telling us the history of the Israelites. It is important as we also strive to “be strong and courageous” and “choose whom we will serve.”

Join us, starting June 15, 2025, as we start our journey through this exciting book!
