Pregnant Out of Wedlock

Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.

Luke 2:15b

The angel is gone. Perhaps Mary is starting to show. And Joseph has to be told.

Being found pregnant out before a wedding was not good!

What would this mean for her marriage; for the raising of this prophesied Son; for her family; for her standing in the community? Indeed, what would it mean for her literal life?

Scary!

But what God promises, He see through.

It was true with Mary. It is true with us.

“Christmas Cookies” — A T.Y.K.E.S. Series

Making Christmas cookies is a sweet labor of love.

These sweet treats require the finest ingredients, shaped just right, baked properly, and iced to perfection – but they are worth the effort.

God brought everything together perfectly with the birth of Jesus – to give us the sweetest Christmas gift ever given.

Join us from December 4-25, for this T.Y.K.E.S. series at LifeBridge!

Who Am I?

Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.

Luke 2:15b

Mary is amazing!

An incredible, special women who “found favor with God” and submitted to His will for her and, through her, for all!

Yet one has to wonder what was in her mind. She must have had questions. Perhaps a chief one being, “who am I”? Why was I the one who found favor in God’s eyes?

In this series for Advent and Christmas we will look at “Mary’s Advent” for the time leading up to, including, and just following Jesus’ birth, as well as our own Advent in the process.

GoBox 2.0 Release!

LifeBridge has been blessed to be a part of the Freedom Church Alliance; an agency dedicated to the eradication of human trafficking by the Church.

Through the years, they have worked with and supported numerous agencies and people to educate and eliminate this heinous enterprise.

One of the most successful tools they have produced is a “GoBox” which educated on the different aspects of trafficking and then gave simple “next steps” on way to help – individually or corporately.

This GoBox is a tactile, immersive experience that will equip you with knowledge about human trafficking, empower you to take action, and connect you with organizations where you can make a difference!

The box was such a success that it was used and requested far beyond the Houston area!

Thus, the “GoBox 2.0” was produced and is set to be released!

This GoBox is a tactile, immersive experience that will equip you with knowledge about human trafficking, empower you to take action, and connect you with organizations where you can make a difference!

This is like nothing you have likely ever seen or used before – and you will be proud to have it, use it, and share it; even as you help in the fight!

The boxes are set to be released on January 9, 2023, and can be preordered here:
freedomchurchalliance.org/gobox

I (Pastor Heitshusen) will be ordering several to give – including one to LifeBridge. I encourage you to order one, too. You won’t be sorry!

May you be blessed as, together, we make a difference in our community and world in this essential area!

God Will Take Care of It

[Jesus] is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Colossians 1:17

There are many times we may ask ourselves, “why do bad people seem to prosper and followers of Jesus suffer?”

To be sure, it’s a wrong question to ask, but it can be frustrating just the same.

Yet what we may feel as unjust, God will make right in His time.

Jesus has made all things right through the cross and His eternal judgement will be right, just, and eternal.

We need not worry about how things are now. We need only have patience through faith for eternity.
