“Test the Spirits – Truth, Part 2”

THE POWER BLINKED OUT! That’s why those watching may have seen things freeze up and stop toward the very end of the sermon today. We apologize, but there was nothing we could do about that. God bless you as you live in “The Way, the Truth, and the Life,” Jesus Christ!

#TruthMatters!

We have covered that already; specifically in regard to the Truth about Jesus. John reiterates the importance of that we need to “test the spirits” – measure them to see of they are of God or not. To see if they carry the Truth or not.

There is some take-away for our world as well. It is important that we “test” our leaders and what they tell us. Is it true, or not?

It makes a difference for our nation and world because, in all things, #TruthMatters!

This will become a clickable video link when closer to the service date/time.

“By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God.”

REFORMATION / MISSION SUNDAY – Worship

Today LifeBridge is honored to have with us some of our own missionaries to the Middle East.

They will be sharing with us what they do there and why and offer an opportunity to partner with them in their ministry.

For security reasons, we will publish neither their names nor location of their mission, and we will have to edit their talk out of our online worship video below. We appreciate your understanding in this.

If you would like to support them, you may do so here: pushpay.com/g/finishthetaskmissions?a=0&fnd=G44154B

If you would like to contact them, please contact Pastor Scott.

Please keep them in your prayers for their travel, safety, and for a fruitful harvest of the Gospel of Jesus!

Thank you!

Drive-Up Communion

We have discontinues this as most of those needing it have now been vaccinated and have returned.

Starting on Sunday, November 1, 2020, LifeBridge will offer “Drive-Up” Holy Communion for folks who cannot make it to worship due to our current environment.

This will take place on Communion Sundays (first and third Sundays of the month) between 1:00-1:30 PM.

Simple pull your vehicle up between those times on those days, honk your horn to let Pastor Scott know you’re here, and he will come out, masked and gloved, with wiped-down Elements and take you through the Sacrament.

Of course, this will also be a time with Pastor Scott can have a short “catch-up” time with folks!

If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Scott.

“Love One Another – Love, Part 2”

Love is the greatest commandment, but what does it look like? The greatest example, of course, is the love shown to us and the world through the sacrificial love Jesus showed by giving up everything – even His life for us! He tells us to act in the the same way.

Love isn’t just a word or concept, it is played out in action!

Let us truly love one another – in everything!

“By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.”
