FAMILY FALL FEST

“FAMILY FALL FEST” (formerly, “Harvest Hoedown”) will be held at LifeBridge on Saturday, October 17, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Games will include:

  • a bounce house
  • petting zoo
  • ball throws and bean bag toss
  • tattoos
  • craft station
  • train ride and
  • MORE!!

FREE FOOD will include

  • hotdogs
  • snow cones
  • cotton candy and
  • popcorn

ALL GAMES AND FOOD ARE FREE!

This is a family event for kiddos from 2 years old to junior high aged.

Spread the word with family, friends, and neighbors! Everyone is welcome!

“Hearts for the Hungry” – Sealy Christian Pantry

Everyone is invited to the Sealy Christian Pantry’s “Hearts for the Hungry” event which will be held Thursday, September 24.

This is a Come & Go Event from 5:00-8:00 PM and will be held at Fancies @ Wolf Pack (211 W Front Street in Downtown Sealy). 

Appetizers, drinks, and a dessert bar will be available.

New FORGE Study: “Can I Trust the Bible?”

Men, we’re starting a new study for our time together, starting on OCTOBER 13 — “Can I Trust the Bible” by with Wes Huff and Andy Steiger through rightnow media.

Description

The Bible is the most important book of the last two millennia. From sitting at the formation of governments, cultures, and law, this collection of ancient documents has shaped the modern world in ways you may have never realized. However, while the Bible’s influence has remained, central attitudes towards it have radically shifted. Once referred to as “the Good Book,” there has been a growing skepticism and downright distaste for the Bible.

Are there good reasons to take the Bible seriously? Can we have confidence that it hasn’t been altered, adapted, influenced, and edited since its last book was penned nearly two thousand years ago?

JOYFUL NOISE: Open Hearts. Open Chords. Open Bibles.

Come join the circle!

Joyful Noise is a relaxed, once-a-month gathering for anyone who loves gospel music, fellowship, and praising God—whether you’ve been playing an instrument for decades, know only three chords, or don’t play an instrument at all.

We’ll gather to sing and play old hymns, gospel favorites, spirituals, and praise songs, intentionally keeping the music simple so everyone can participate. There are no auditions, no performances, and no pressure to be perfect. Experienced musicians are encouraged to fill out the sound and help our beginners along.

And if we completely trainwreck a song? We’ll find the chord, find each other, and keep going!

We’ll finish each evening by opening our Bibles for a short devotional, sharing prayer requests, and praying together.

Bring your guitar or other acoustic instrument, bring your voice, or simply bring yourself.
