It shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acts 2:21
From of old, man has sought to bring himself up to the level of God.
But that doesn’t work.
God had to become man in Jesus.
And even after Jesus, He also sent His Holy Spirit to be within us.
God came to us and now resides in us!
What an amazing, awesome blessing and gift!
So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love.
John 4:16a (nirv)
Join us for our new Toddler series: “BUBBLES!” where “bubbles show us Jesus’ love!”
Kids love bubbles! (Who doesn’t?!) They are endlessly fascinating to look at, to blow, and to pop. In this series, preschoolers will play with bubbles, and through their play learn some important lessons about the love of Jesus.
In this series, kids will learn that the love of Jesus is clear!
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32 (niv)
Join us, Dudes and Dudettes as we learn to chill with the Beatitudes!
In the first sermon he ever preached, Jesus gave us the Beatitudes: eight blessings promised to those who seek Jesus and live for him. The Beatitudes can change the way we look at life and help us to live in a way that honors Jesus.
It’ll be rad, so be there!

Why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw Him go into heaven.
Acts 1:11
Jesus rose from the dead, and then ascended into heaven. Since Jesus is in heaven, what does that mean for us?
All authority is His. He reigns in heaven over all things for you! We don’t need to trust in ourselves, our money, our political leaders, or anything/one else. We can rest assured that our Lord Jesus Christ reigns on our behalf!
Finally, He will return in the same way that He went up. When He appears, we will appear with Him. This gives us hope for the new life to come, and we live in that hope.
How wonderful! How comforting!
We have a special treat as we have a guest teacher this morning: the wonderful and amazing Rachel Heitshusen!
She will be giving us an overview of the book of 1 Thessalonians today.
Let’s go!

(This Jesus said to show by what kind of death Peter was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me.”
John 21:19
It is heart-wrenching to think about Peter’s denial. What he must have felt following the roster’s crowing; especially when he had been warned.
Now is the awkward moment. Jesus is alive and it’s time to address that incident.
How would Jesus do it? What would He say? What would Peter’s future with Him be like?
It’s not all rosy, but it ends with Jesus’ grace and mercy!
