These are items that are seasonal and are not provided by the Houston Food Bank, so your help is needed!
Please bring your cans an deposit them in the containers at the back of the sanctuary with the signs.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Romans 3:23–24
We all know what it’s like to live in sin. It is a constant and familiar companion in our journey of life. We know it shouldn’t be, but it is.
God has given us another, different, better way to live – the way of Faith; the way of justification; the way of Jesus! In, through, and by Him – and Him alone – our life of sin is transformed eternally to a eternal life of righteousness with Him!
The need for more blood donations is growing daily. Your blood donation is essential to keep the blood supply strong and steady. Without on-going donors, we cannot ensure people have the blood they need.
We’re asking you to come in and donate! The need is real. The need is now.
“Jesus is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them”
Hebrews 7:25
Priests were set-apart from others. They were called to different standards and a different way of life.
But they were far from perfect! In fact, they failed in this task miserably!
So God One who would fulfill this function – perfectly and forever: Jesus! And now, He intercedes – faithfully, mercifully, and lovingly on our behalf forever; and through faith in Him, we are covered with His perfection; set apart by God!
I died to the Law through the Law, so that I could live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the life that I now live in my body, I live by faith, indeed, by the faithfulness of God’s Son, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:19–20 (CEB)
Fend for yourself or for others?
Well, it’s a bit of both.
We are called to bear our own load, but also are to “bear one another’s burdens.”
Really, it’s about living out the sacrificial life of love for others.
Paul puts it well: “as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
Loving others means helping others, just as Jesus loves and helps us!
